Google最新影像生成模型Gemini 2.5 Flash Image的代號「Nano Banana」，上市後聲勢直漲而上，OpenAI因此宣布將其「專案（Projects）」功能，全面開放給所有ChatGPT的免費使用者，被外界視為OpenAI回應市場競爭，以及對Gemini產生危機感的操作。

ChatGPT的「Projects」專案管理功能自2024年底首度發布時，僅提供Plus、Pro等付費訂閱者使用。而歷經9個月的系統優化與回應用戶期待，OpenAI官方近日宣布，正式開放專案功能，全面提供所有免費用戶使用。「專案」功能幫助使用者將相關的對話、檔案與指令整合至單一專案中，讓AI回應前能優先分析專案內的資訊，藉此提高回答的準確性與效率。

根據OpenAI的官方說明，這次開放後，不同方案的使用者在檔案上傳數量上有所區別：免費使用者的每個專案最多可上傳5個檔案；Plus方案使用者則可上傳25個檔案；至於Pro方案使用者則可上傳40個檔案。此外，所有用戶都可自訂專案的顏色與圖標，並可以將專案的記憶範圍設定成「僅限本專案」。
OpenAI的這項更新已在網頁版與Android版上線，iOS版則預計在未來幾天內跟進。
